Objectives, activities and expected/achieved results:


The aim of the Metal.Bot project is to build a robotic hybrid manufacturing facility with active dimensional control for building large, high-performance metal parts. This project is highly innovative in terms of materials technologies, mechanical design, implementation of digital systems, instrumentation and advanced robotics for the additive manufacture of large metal parts, and is part of the development vectors for Industry 4.0 with the development of state-of-the-art additive processes in intelligent systems.
